What is Roman Chamomile Essential Oil?

Third component of the SLEEP & STRESS essential oil synergy :
Roman chamomile.

Its essential oil is extracted from the flowers of the plant known for its calming and sedative effects.

It is a powerful analgesic which is why it is used in several hospital departments, particularly in palliative care.

Antispasmodic , painkiller , anti-inflammatory , antiallergic , treats asthma, antiparasitic, antinauseant.

It helps reduce stress and anxiety , improve sleep quality and relieve the nervous system.

Not to be confused with Matricaria chamomilla, blue-green skin soothing oil.

Roman chamomile is often taken as a dietary supplement to help release tension and aid in relaxation .

Different routes of administration:

🌿 Olfactory way : breathe directly from the bottle for 20 seconds. Usable in diffusion 20 minutes every hour by nebulizer but it is expensive.

🌿 Dermal : you can also mix a few drops of Roman chamomile essential oil with a vegetable oil for a massage of the wrists, temples, chest, neck, solar plexus.

🌿 Internal route : pour 2 drops 3 times a day in a teaspoon with virgin rapeseed oil.
1 drop maximum/10 kg/day in 2 to 3 doses, i.e. 7 drops maximum for a 70 kg adult.
